The Pineal Gland is completely visible as a third eye on most reptiles. It is visible on the top of the head because these are ground crawlers. The sun will always cast over the top of the head, hitting the Pineal Gland with light!

The Masonic Square and Compass

Notice the "Eye of Horus" aka "All Seeing Eye" in the circle at the top of the compass

The "G" stands for "Geometry". What you see is a pen and pencil marking compass and square ruler. 

The Square and Compasses (or, more correctly, a square and a set of compasses joined together) is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. Both the square and compasses are architect's tools and are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic lessons. In English speaking jurisdictions the Square and Compasses are often depicted with the letter "G" in the center. The letter is interpreted to represent different words jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Among the most widely accepted interpretations are that: [G] stands for God, and is to remind Masons that God is at the center of Freemasonry. In this context it can also stand for Great Architect of the Universe (a reference to God). In a different context, the letter stands for Geometry, described as being the "noblest of sciences", and "the basis upon which the superstructure of Freemasonry is erected.

In the center of the Masonic Compass you can notice the structure of the Pyramid, with the "G" over it, standing for "God" or "Geometry". Quite possibly both.

As in our world, the Earth-616 version of the World Trade Center appears to have fallen to terrorists as well. Captain America was seen digging through the rubble. ^[1]. Daredevil also peered over the rubble of 911 months later ^[2].

Previously, the World Trade Center was a backdrop and landmark of many Marvel Adventures in New York City. For example, The Avengers fought Zodiac on top of the World Trade Center. The battle, and in particular the Vision's actions, severely damaged the outside facade. After the skirmish, the Assemblers worked diligently on repairs with the Mighty Thor holding the foundation in place. ^[3]

Later, the Incredible Hulk fought Doc Samson atop the World Trade Center ^[4]. Samson was knocked off the buidling before any major damage occurred. Similarly, Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson, and Flash Thompson had dinner at least once at the World Trade Center. ^[5]
